Colour Dry Brush Portrait
Was fortunate to get a chance to dry brush a portrait for a dear friend, and this time in colour!.... :)
'Renu' Dry Brushed Oil Paint on Fabriano Watercolour Paper Size: 11.3 Inches x 15 Inches note* the gray background is not part of the piece |
This would be my first coloured dry brush portrait, the second in the dry brush technique... It took me a little over a week and a half to complete however (but it sure was a blast)
Igor Kazarin (my mentor as far as I'm concerned when it comes to Dry Brush Portraiture) finishes a piece in only 6 hours!... One can't rush a portrait though, so I got lots of practice to go to get that fast ay!....
Plan on a smaller colour dry brush portrait soon, which will also have a step by step WIP included of it on my Materializing Inspiration blog!!
Thats all for now though folks,..
Thanks for Visiting !... :)
